So much love in one virtual room… As the #NPWAwards 2021 drew to a close the only thing we can think to say is a massive congratulations; to the nominees, the winners, and all the support teams from this evening.

What. A Night.

Once again, the #NPWAwards pulled out all the stops in an unbelievable showcase of talent and brilliance.

What were the main take-aways from the evening? One resounding narrative repeatedly surfacing through the event was how our everyday actions have the power to make history, and that everybody has the knowledge within them to show up and be a mentor to someone. So, we have to all walk the walk and be bold in moving toward change and gender equality, because diversity in business is what will set apart the companies that grow and excel verses those that don’t.

“It’s really important to be intentional, to pay it forward. Be a role model, be a visible role model, embrace that responsibility and encourage others to do the same. Its so important”

— Simone Roche MBE, Founder of NPW

Awards trophies and prosecco were delivered to the doors of this evenings winners (virtual chic darling!) and all the attendees from tonights event received a hamper of locally sourced food and drink — supplied by local female led businesses — or have had the option to opt into donating the cost of the hamper to charity instead.

If you want to get involved and donate too, you can via the #NPWAwards charity page at https://www.northernpowerwomen.com/charity/

Amongst the incredible partners that made this evening possible; HSBC bank, Michael Page and Liverpool Football Club to name a few, we want to give a special thanks is to be given to EY, the Key Headline Partner for #NPWAwards 2020.

The inspiration doesn’t stop here, you can keep up to date with future NPW Activities by following @NorthPowerWomen on Twitter.

Don’t forget to check out the NPW Podcast too! The podcast is centred around students and those who are just starting out in their careers to get their burning questions answered by senior business leaders. The next episode is on Monday march 15th featuring tonights winners.
