#NPWAwards returns for a virtual celebration!
A long-awaited #NPWAwards is finally kicking off with style, officially taking top spot as the largest women’s empowerment awards ceremony of it’s kind in Europe! So sit down Covid, we’ll take it from here…
Despite the set back, in true #NPWAwards style, the fifth Northern Power Women awards will be bigger and more brilliant than ever, with an estimated 2000 people tuning into our virtual awards, which stands up proudly next to the #NPWAwards ceremonies of the past five years…
With the support of todays key partner EY, the NPW team have created an uplifting evening of excellence that is sure to leave you feeling inspired. Tonight is all about uniting people from across the nation in sharing the passion and achievements of some incredible change-makers.

#NPWAwards exists to showcase these incredible role models and to celebrate the trailblazers across all genders, sectors, ethnicities, abilities and regions in the north, those who are working tirelessly towards creating gender balance in organisations. Of course there is no better day to hold such a celebration than on International Women’s Day!
Kicking the night off on a high note, Deana Warnsley, Finalist on the Voice 2019, will be singing live from 5:30–6pm. What a treat!
The host for evening is the talented and gracious Nina Hossain. Nina went from making waves early on in her career as the launch face of BBC London News, to becoming the main presenter of ITV Lunchtime News and ITV News London.
Throughout the course of the evening there will be incredible 11 award winners, as well as the 2020 Future List and the 2020 Power List, showcasing some truly inspirational women who are future leader and influences.
